16th Century Spanish Renaissance Coffered Ceiling. Tempura on Pine is brilliant colors of azure, red, black and white. Moorish Rosettes and intertwined motifs throughout. Was reduced from a much larger ceiling and removed by us from an historic house on Lower Beacon Hill, Boston. The measurements may indeed be greater. The tempura colors are actually quite vibrant and can be easily cleaned. By Repute: Gifted by Isabella Stewart Gardner to Charlotte Nichols Greene.
