Set of Ten 19th Century Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs

Set of ten rare and fine period Regency chairs in carved mahogany. Neoclassical draped form with applied ormolu mounts of Athemion and wheat sheaves. Two armchairs and eight sides. Beautiful choice of mahogany. Maker unknown but in keeping with designs by George Smith. Note: ALL caned seats are in good usable condition. We had two chairs recaned after the photo was taken.

Repaired: Recaning. Wear consistent with age and use. Once the seat cushion is created by client, the seat height will be 19″. Two side chairs appear to be later copies added to set.
