    Byzantine style carved marble Baptismal font on later cast stone stand. Four lion leads Circumnavigate the font. Foliate and Byzantine Carving Throughout. Each side with Zoomorphic Symbolism including a Serpent, Peacock, Lioness. Weathering but stable. Ex Private Collection via a Berkshires Estate. For now pending further study we are saying this is 19th Century however it may be significantly older. Size of just the font without the stand is 30" diameter by 17" high.

    A pair of Empire style gilt bronze Brule-Parfums in manner of Pierre-Philippe Thomire, 19th century each openwork cover with an acorn finial above the body having a rim cast to show grape bunches and a continuous band of classically draped figures, further mounted with ram masks, raised on a stepped square plinth mounted with opposing griffins flanking a flaming urn. Each in very good condition, minor surface wear. 19th century.
