EARLY PAINTED TAVERN / GAMES TABLE Country Hepplewhite Pine Rectangular Table, early 19th c., with red painted surface, having a removable breadboard end top secured by side pegs, painted Parcheesi and checkerboards to one side, backgammon board to the underside, with single molded edge drawer, interior containing dice, checkers, shaker cups, game markers, cards, and pegs, 29 1/2" high, 38" x 28 1/2". Item Details Period English Regency Mahogany Three Pedestal Dining Table. Excellent period wood selection and figuring. Original pedestals with four outstretched legs and casters. Two matching leaves. Wonderful patina and age. --Provenance: Prominent Boston Family Dimensions: Height: 29.5 in Width: 164 in Depth: 55 in Style: Regency (Of the Period) Materials and Techniques: Mahogany Place of Origin: England Period: Early 19th Century Date of Manufacture: 1815-20 Condition: Good Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. End sections with original tilt top mechanisms. We removed later additions to top of pedestals which family had added for additional height. Table is now at original and standard height of 29.5 inches. Refinished but patina intact. -
